Dewald Brevis

Dewald Brevis, South Africa’s explosive right-hander dubbed ‘Baby AB’, brings 1787 T20 runs (HS 162), 2023 T20I experience, and previous MI IPL stints, and for TATA IPL 2025 joins CSK for INR 2.2 Cr as Gurjapneet Singh’s replacement, adding powerplay firepower alongside MS Dhoni and Devon Conway.

Ayush Mhatre

Ayush Mhatre, a 17-year-old Mumbai right-handed batter, impressed with a 176 on Irani Cup debut and strong first-class/List A numbers—including breaking Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 150+ youngest record—earning his maiden IPL deal as CSK signed him for INR 30 lakhs as Ruturaj Gaikwad’s replacement for IPL 2025.

Urvil Patel

Urvil Patel, a hard-hitting wicketkeeper-batter from Gujarat and former GT squad member, joins CSK for TATA IPL 2025 as Vansh Bedi’s replacement after a standout 2024/25 season that featured his record 28-ball century in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy — the fastest T20 hundred by an Indian and second-fastest overall.

Anshul Kamboj

Anshul Kamboj, a right-arm medium pacer who debuted for MI in 2024, earned a ₹3.40 Cr CSK deal for IPL 2025 after his sensational 10-wicket Ranji innings and his ability to swing and seam the ball both ways.
